A pleasant surprise ! R.Ganesh switched over to became a vocalist also and sang this melodious Yamuna Kalyani raga based tamil kriti sung in praise of Goddess Kamakshi

A scintillating alapana on the raga Pantuvarali was followed by the famous kriti Siva Siva Siva ena Radha , written by Shri Thyagaraja Swamigal...
Brilliant neraval and Swarams and the entire package was for around 18 minutes.
Vaidy gave an outstanding accompaniment . A 3 minute Thani avarthanam was well played by Vaidy.
The audience were so thrilled and swayed like bees that Sangameswaran and MAP Sir rose up instinctively and instantly the entire hall stood up and gave a standing ovation !

MSV the ultimate king of Melody
What a moment ! While passing through Stthome, I saw the Little Master of South Indian music the Champion of Melody Shri M.S.Viswanathan standing at the entrance of his house...I was cheerfully welcomed by him and a short video on my conversation with him...Truly an unforgettable moment in life !
An evening of our classmates - 1980 P.S.High School ( North )
Its partytime for my classmates on 25th June 2011 at Guindy Race Club Hall. Most of us parted in 1980-82 after we completed 10th standard in P.S.High School ( North ) , Mylapore . Our School topper R.Venkatesh was in India briefly and everyone made it an occasion to meet up after 3 decades...So, one can observe the thrill, happiness and warmth between the 20 plus guys .....a curtain raiser to our main event planned for 14th August 2011.
Very happy to see all the old faces and all enjoying with cheerful smile .......

There is a special place in our hearts for Shri P.N.Seshagiri Rao sir, also affectionately called as PNS. This great man just didnt do teaching only but also was carrying out extra curricular activities on Scout, British Council Library, conducting Quiz programmes, running an innovative mathematics club called Aryabhatta club etc....

Kolapur Lake ( Chowpatty )- 22.4.2011
Kolapur has a beautiful Lake named after the famous Chowpatty of Mumbai due to the similarity. We had a nice boating on the lake....

I had been to Kolapur on a pilgrimage . We also covered a Museum wherein the palace of King Sahu Maharaj is being preserved as a Monument. A very good collection. The video is a view from outside...

Grand reunion with our old Class Teachers from P.S.High School ( North )-16th March2011
Its the greatest moment of my life 
....meeting our dear old School Teachers from P.S.High School ( North ) , Mylapore .....
....meeting our dear old School Teachers from P.S.High School ( North ) , Mylapore .....On the occasion of Upanayanam of my son Aakash, we thought this is the best moment to honour our great Teachers. Accepting my request, all turned up
We were all blessed souls that day..
Its more than 30 years since we parted from our dear School but the fond memories are deeply stored .....
The Black and White photo was taken in 1980 when we were doing 10th standard.
Not only my classmates, there were many seniors, super seniors and juniors too who were thrilled to see their Teachers with the same old charm and energy !!!
These Teachers taught us the basics of life and served selflessly ..........Admirable characters ......

Shri K.Ramasubramanian ( K.R.S.) - Our Head Master - P.S.High School North
In March 2011 , I got the unforgettable opportunity of meeting my School former Head Master , the one and only Shri K.Ramasubramanian affectionately called as K.R.S. He was our HM when I studied P.S.High School North between 1975 - 1980 . KRS sir was an outstanding Teacher on Mathematics and the way he used to teach us even tougher aspects through simple approach is astonishing and strongly etched in our memory ! A great personality and an admirable character. We all owe our success to our respectable School Teachers

Mylapore Kapaleeshwarar Radham - 15.3.2011
Happened to pass by the famous Kapaleeswarar temple and got a glimpse of the Radham which was being decorated for the Ther oorvalam on 16th March 2011. The God will take a full round of the 4 streets called Maadaveedhi and will settle down at the origin point. Will give dharshan from the Dias adjacent to the Radham for the rest of the day . Fond memories of Mylapore continues.............
